Antonio Joseph Bologna passed away on Friday, July 28, 2017 at the age of 86. He was the beloved husband for 50 years to the late Rose Marie Bologna. He was preceded in death by his parents, Vincent Bologna and Mary Giangrosso. He is survived by his children: Maria Decareaux (Dean), Vincent Bologna (Tara), Lisa Perrone (Kenny), Susan Russell (Randy), and Harold Bologna (Julie); his grandchildren: Josh and Brandon Decareaux, Nicholas and Christopher Bologna, Elizabeth and Jonathan Perrone, Amber, Emily and Grace Russell, and Amanda and Ashley Bologna; and many other relatives and friends. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War and served on the USS Princeton CV-37 Aircraft carrier. He resided in St. Tammany Parish for the last 21 years, and was a parishioner of Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
A Funeral Mass will be held at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive in Metairie, LA on Saturday, August 5, 2017 at 11:00 am. Visitation will be from 9:00 am until Mass time. Interment will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
