Amanda Leigh Morales went to her heavenly home at Oschner Medical Center in Gretna, LA on Thursday, October 5, 2017 at the age of 33. Amanda is survived by her children, Blayne Joseph Morales and Bryanna Frances Morales; her mother, Denise Limberg Morales; her brother, Scott Joseph Morales; her sisters, Elizabeth Ann Morales, Cynthia Marie Morales, and Michaela Lynne Morales and their children; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Lambert Joseph Morales; her paternal grandfather, Dudley J. Morales Sr.; and her maternal grandparents, Irwin and Shirley Limberg.
Amanda was born March 27, 1984 in Metairie, LA and attended Archbishop Chapelle and East Jefferson High Schools. She recently gave her heart to Carmen Billiot and gained a son, Hayden on August 29, 2017. She was a former horse trainer in Folsom, LA.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Lakeview Christian Center, 5805 Fleur de Lis Dr. in New Orleans, LA on Saturday, October 14, 2017. Visitation begins at 1:00 pm with a service following at 2:00 pm. Pastor Ronald Laitano will officiate the ceremony. All friends and family are welcome to come and celebrate Amanda's life. Condolences and donations in lieu of flowers will be accepted by the family.
