On Saturday, March 16, 2024, Albert F. Andre, III better known as 'Trey' passed away at the early age of 47. He is survived by his fiance' Diane Peterson, Loving children Albert F. “Jack” Andre IV, Kyle Philip Andre and Nicholas Joseph Andre; Parents Albert F. “Buddy” Andre, Jr. and Patricia N. Andre, Brother Christopher John Andre, Nieces Kayla and Jenna Andre. Trey is predeceased by his brother Daniel Patrick Andre. He is also survived by a number of aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.
Trey spent his career in heavy construction. He was good at it – one of the best. He worked hard and was proud of his accomplishments in the industry. He was particularly proud of the work he did and the part it played in the rebuilding of New Orleans post Katrina.
Trey was a loving father of three sons – Jack, Kyle, and Nick. Life dealt Trey a hand that was difficult for his family. However, he never once faltered in his love for his boys. They were always his biggest source of love and joy.
Trey has been in a committed and loving relationship with Diane Petersen for the past 6 years. Trey was smitten with Diane from the day they met. They built a home and a life together. Her children, Tanner and Taylor, he regarded as his own. Together Trey and Diane welcomed her grandchildren.
Trey loved people. When he made a friend, it was for life. He enjoyed entertaining family and friends at home and sharing his life with those he loved. He never shied away from sharing his magnificent cooking skills – always ready to show off a new recipe. His hobbies also included wood working, mechanics, and of course his pets. Trey was great lover of animals and always had two, three, four……opening his heart and home to those creatures that needed one. He loved his Saints and LSU, and he had a keen ear and huge appreciation for music as well.
Trey leaves us now with a lifetime of memories. He has touched more lives than he ever realized. He was a good man with a good heart and will always be remembered as such.

Family and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Service on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at Garden of Memories Funeral Home and Cemetery, 4900 Airline Dr. Metairie, LA. 70001. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM with a Service at 12:00 PM with inurnment immediately thereafter.
